Bolongna Children's Book Fair

I am excited to visit Bolongna Children's Book Fair this year again. The selected illustrations will be exhibited in Taipei this year! I was inspired with the whole event during last visit.

Hopefully I'll gain more ideas this year : )

Peko at RTHK programme

2013 Shanghai 4/4

 When I was trying the glasses at a street stall. The boy suggested me not to wear glasses because I don't have serious eye sight. I asked if most Shanghainese are 單眼皮. He said he is not Shanghainese, and he has 多層皮, none of the slide made him 雙眼皮.

 I am happy to meet my friend in Hangzhou. I had dinner with her and her friends there. We are so lucky to meet each other overseas.

Desperate when I missed my flight...I saw a little boy on the MRT, he made me smiled. Everything became bright and beautiful to me again.

2013 Shanghai 3/4

 My eyes are smaller and smaller. I am so tired. My friend was late, and it became my excuse to have a coffee myself.

 I enjoyed my time to visit 田子坊 on my own. I did not get used to my new glasses.

 The old Shanghainese are cool to me. When I met nice people, I remembered the bad things happened in Hong Kong.

Can you choose which eye is Shanghainese's eye?

2013 Shanghai 2/4

Shanghai is beautiful with many European buildings. I could not stop and record with my companion, so I only drew the windows. I remembered my days in Italy with Eva.

I was waiting beside the pond at the People's Park, there are thousands of tadpoles there... um... They look cute, but I don't fancy frog, haha...

I received a rabbit and friend's picture from my friend. Thanks for his encouragement. I drew the right one to respond his drawing.

 I was desperate before I left Hong Kong, so I hoped to motivate myself to draw again. This is a tiny sketchbook with a leather cover. Ariel brought to me from London years ago.

Extremely emotional and I feel guilty to hurt my friend. I said 'I don't like you', actually I hoped you will care me more.

2013 Shanghai 1/4

I went to Shanghai in late May before starting my new job. Hanged out with friend for an old Japanese movie and nice fish and chips before the trip, I was advised to stop changing. Yes, I kept changing my city, my job, the surrounding people...

 I bought a 3G SIM card as soon as I arrived Shanghai airport. Dear, what's the point I bought this expensive service without Facebook, whatsapp...Thanks for the staff there, we've spent near 1.5 hours to fix the internet service. My sister received my Shanghai arrival email, 1 month after I back Hong Kong, haha.

I met my Shanghai friend,  Harriet. I told her I prefer to stay at hostel alone in the first few days. I need some private time, to review and draw during night time.

I've met nice hostelmates, when I noticed that I have forgotten to bring my mobile charger. One girl has been staying at this YHA for a month because she could not find a flat in Shanghai. I hope she has settled down somewhere now. Is working in Shanghai a dream to most Chinese people?

New Home of School of Design

 I went to PolyU yesterday because of a seminar. I am glad to see the new building of School of Design is soon to be completed. Congratulations to the design students :D

I am back

I was tired physically and mentally in the past few weeks. I could not draw anything...sorry to you and myself. Many people entered my life. It seems that I have entered another world, which I have not prepared to go. I went to Shanghai suddenly and fixed my mind again...I should back to my own life, don't be stirred by anyone who will hurt me...

I hope I have a better place to work. Now, I have my bed only...

It began

謝謝每一位我在台灣遇見的人。這是第一次提早一年安排的旅程，比安排到英國讀書的時間還要長。其實那個「幸福偷偷笑」，並不是因為發生過什麼。只是，我希望和樂觀認為，若果你真心想得到什麼，便會有一個引力把這東西引過來。最少，自己在這旅程中，發現了想要的事。

Thanks everyone I have met in this Taiwan journey. It has been a long time I have decided this journey, rather than that for the UK study...I've mentioned that I smiled happily on Facebook and you guys curious what happened. Actually, nothing happened. I think that if we have the will, it will happen one day. And, I've found what I want in this journey. Keep fingers crossed :)

Capacity

We are in different cities, in different continents. This provides a large capacity to carry our tears. We couldn't see each other crying, whereas the tears have been diluted by sea water. We'd only see each other's smiles. Can we sing a song to cheer we up?
