The painting was enhanced with the red stamp,
which was a souvenir from my sister in Shanghai.

To my adorable working partner

I was a Programme Officer in Arts in Education Programme in YMCA.
I enjoyed it, no matter I was a youth joining the workshops or I was a staff.
Let's go further and make our dreams come true.
Thanks Sandy, and so to my boss Tam Tze : )

ps. Card thanks for my job a lot...cos' I have not rejected her incoming calls when I was working.
She has been rejected million times before I worked here, haha...

Round

I bought this fanzine at Kubrick last year. It was created by a HK girl studying overseas. I kept it at office and I got time to taste it finally. Um!!! She was studying Illustrations at Camberwell too. I realized it lately but I am excited to see her work at my favorite bookshop. One and a half month later, I can concentate on drawing again. And, I will miss my Chinese Medicine lesson too :P

Chinese painting class - 02

This is a simple picture, but it's funny to finish a whole painting with a drop of ink. I am like a child, showing my painting to my parents after school...I enjoy the drawing process as it'd be another kind of meditation for me.

Sensorship failed

[Up] I was a 'secret person' in the 'Diary Exchange workshop' in YMCA. I was not allowed to reveal my identity to my unknown partner. We could exchange our ideas through our 'monthly diary' without limitation. This is my first 'diary' I did.

[Down] Just created an account at 'Wei Bo' for easier access to other blogs...but it was forbidden and claimed I shown 'incorrect information'. I have posted nothing apart from saying 'hi'. I realized at the end...My account name is Jasmine.........omg, I am not powerful to start revolution.

Chinese painting class - 01

I joined a Chinese painting class this Summer. After I learnt how to wash my writing bush in the 1st lesson, let's draw straight lines last week. I enjoyed observing how the ink being absorbed by paper. We needed to concentrate and kept the brush upright. Take care of the speed and strength in order to create stable lines.

Suddenly, I remembered my promise with my printmaking teacher we made 2 years ago. I've thought of a topic of my storybook : )

Give you a hug if I can

Photo from Ariel and QOD

The tee graphic came from the dummy doll in my 'By My Side' exhibition in 2009.
The venue was a children boutique and few dummy dolls were left. I drew on them and they became one of the exhibited works.
Ken and Yvonne Tam love it at the opening, and they hope to use the illustration as tee graphics, so it is now available at QOD.
