Brainstorming

I sudden came up with an idea of making a doll,

and hope it will travel with me and I will be inspired on my story writing.

Ran to supermarkets and bought needle and thread,

and used my Aunt's kitchen cloth to make the doll in the midnight.

The nose is too large when compared with the drawing,

anyway I'm still working on the character design...not finalized.

I was happy that a story idea came out when I was sewing the doll.

I'll take picture of this doll if there is lightsource/sunlight

for project research. I will need your help soon! :)

Weaving at British Museum

One of the actvities at Grayson Perry Late at British Museum.

I was not patient to do it, but I remembered I wanna take

the workshop of weaving in HK as it is interesting.

Scratching

1st time to do scratching: scratched the soaked paper
and mounted it onto board immediately before it shrinked.
Yes..the paper did not shrink when I applied gouche later on :)

ps. the sponge has finally been used since 1999...

Monoprint workshop

It is my 1st time to make monoprint.

It'd be described as 'copy paper', scratch on the paper on top,

the ink below will go to the paper underneath, to create patterns/lines.
